About the Creators
Artist/Survivor Jan Spangler cartooned 30+ cards for encouraging those going through cancer, and thus the beginning of "Survivor Girl." Her positive messages, upbeat humor and strong faith has come through in each card, (12 cards are currently in circulation and many more are being worked on and produced). In 2010 Susan G, a fellow survivor, proposed to Jan that it was time to create a new "sister" to Survivor Girl, aka SurThriver Girl ® for all those women who have been through and are now celebrating the "new normal" of life after treatment! That sister has been created/cartooned and three new cards are now available, bringing the current series to 15 cards!
